said: "I am extremely pleased to have been appointed as HSBC's Area
Commercial Director for Derbyshire. I am looking forward to getting
back to working with Midlands businesses and the local professional
community, following a brief spell away from the area for the past
year.
"The economic environment has certainly presented challenges to
businesses in the region, but innovative and thinking businesses
are still focused on future growth. My team and I are looking
forward to engaging with and supporting local businesses across all
sectors, from agriculture through to manufacturing, to take
advantage of opportunities presented by the upturn. I particularly
look forward to working with David Stevenson, HSBC's newly
appointed International Commercial Manager in Derbyshire, to help
our customers look to new markets for growth."
