Half term fun at Shugborough

Spooky fun and half term antics will be the order of the day at Shugborough this school holiday.

The estate will be hosting half term activities from Saturday October 23 to Thursday October 28 from 11am until 5pm.

From pumpkin carving in the walled garden to spooky themed craft activities at the farm, there'll be something for all children to enjoy at the estate during the autumn week.

In the mansion house there's a Halloween quiz trail to follow while in the servants' quarters there will be a twice daily school of wizardry in the Victorian schoolroom and more craft activities.

At the farm visitors can enjoy some tasty Halloween themed baking and see a ghoulish feast laid out for gruesome guests.

The fun of half term will come to a climax on Saturday October 30, when the estate hosts its annual Halloween Spooktacular when the house transforms into the biggest spookiest mansion for miles around. On the night there will be a fun fair, garden ghost tours, ghost train, spooky disco, fire juggling, stilt walking and more.

The estate is open daily until October 28. Shugborough will be closed on Friday October 29, but will re-open on October 30 from 5pm for one night of really squealy Halloween fun at the annual Spooktacular.
