Get a taste for Titanic at Brown and Green

Titanic Brewery is teaming up with successful quality food and drink retailer Brown and Green to help champion local produce.

The Burslem breweries bottled range is among the best selling beers at Brown and Green's store at the Trentham Shopping Village.

Two special Titanic tasting days will be held in the store. Customers will be given a chance to take advantage of some special offers from the brewery and Brown and Green is offering customers a special discount - five bottles for £10 - on tasting days.

Dave Bott, a Director of Titanic Brewery, said: "Brown and Green is relatively new on the North Staffordshire scene but has quickly built an enviable reputation for the quality of the produce it sells.

"Both Titanic and Brown and Green are keen supporters of the use of locally grown produce. Titanic Brewery firmly believes in using locally sourced ingredients where ever possible both at the brewery and on food menus in our pubs.

"Factors such as food miles are important in reducuing the business communities carbon footprint."

Titanic staff will be at Brown and Green on Saturday, 30 October and Saturday, 18 December to host tasting sessions.

Vouchers will be available for special offers at Titanic's five Staffordshre pubs.

Susie Keenan of Brown and Green said: "We are passionate about providing high quality regional produce and Titanic Brewery's range clearly fits that bill.

"We are delighted to host suppliers in store for tasting days and we will certainly be raising a (small!) glass to a long and fruitful relationship with Titanic."
