Crest receives ultimate vote of confidence from its customers

Crest Nicholson, the force behind the award winning Park Central development in Birmingham city centre, has received from the ultimate vote of confidence from its homebuyers. An independent survey has revealed that nine out of ten existing customers would be happy to recommend the developer to friends.

Adding yet more credibility to these findings, the 2010 survey from the Housebuilding Federation (HBF)* awarded Crest Nicholson the highest rating of five stars for 'Recommendation' and 'Quality of Build' based on customer feedback.

Jo Parker, sales manager at Crest Nicholson's Park Central development in Birmingham, said: "At Crest, we never underestimate what it means for someone to go through the homebuying process. This is a big step for anyone to take and we prioritise customer service to ensure that this journey is as smooth and trouble free as possible. To be recognised for this approach with such positive feedback from our customers is extremely rewarding and a purchaser recommendation is the ultimate accolade. If our homebuyers are happy to recommend Crest to their friends then it shows that they had a positive experience and trust in Crest to provide a good service.

"These survey results also demonstrate how Crest's new homes are well regarded among our customers for their build quality. With an emphasis on excellent design standards, innovation and attention to detail, this is exactly the result that Crest continues to strive for and we will aim to build on this excellent feedback as we complete the new £15 million 'Lower Parkside' phase of new homes at Park Central."

A short walk from The Mailbox, Park Central is bordered by Bath Row and Lee Bank Middleway and comprises a mix of stylish, contemporary new homes around eight acres of landscaped public parkland. A range of apartments are currently available in the Upper Parkside Phase at Park Central, priced from just £90,000 for a one bedroom design and £146,500 for a two bedroom property.

The new Lower Parkside phase features 80 apartments and 27 freehold townhouses. All new homes have been designed to meet high national design standards, meaning homeowners benefit from living in a low maintenance property that is significantly more environmentally friendly and energy efficient than the vast majority of second hand homes on the market.

Each new home will also come complete with individually-designed kitchens featuring a stainless steel oven, hob and extractor, and integrated appliances. Contemporary bathrooms will feature Hansgrohe mixer taps and stylish Porcelanosa tiling, along with Kaldewai enamelled steel baths and chrome towel rails. This quality, hand-picked specification has proven popular with purchasers on previous phases at Park Central, as it means homeowners can move straight in without the hassle of undertaking any costly DIY projects.

Jo continued: "All buyers at Park Central will benefit from the reassurance of an attentive and knowledgeable team from the outset.  A dedicated Customer Service Team is allocated to each purchaser to assist in every aspect of selecting, purchasing and living in a new Crest Nicholson home, from providing comprehensive information about the property to choosing options that will personalise the décor and fittings.

"At key stages during construction, homeowners are invited to view the new property and are kept regularly informed on its progress. Detailed final inspections are carried out before the purchaser moves in, when the After-sales Team takes over, dealing with any queries. A 24-hour emergency helpline and a 10-year guarantee provide reassurance and peace of mind."

*The HBF survey, completed by over 16,000 new home owners, grades developers on varying aspects of service giving an overall banding based on 'Quality of home' and 'Recommendation'. The Group scored 5 stars for both, which equates to 90% or more of respondents stating they were 'very' or 'fairly satisfied' with the quality of their new home and the same percentage as willing to recommend Crest Nicholson to a friend.
