A new web-based service has been launched for companies in the
tourism, leisure and conferencing industry in Coventry and
Warwickshire.
The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce has launched a
TLC (tourism, leisure, conferencing) micro-site on its own website
- www.cw-chamber.co.uk/tlc
The idea behind the site is to promote the industry in the area,
to earmark events in the calendar and also provide links to
businesses' own websites.
It will be open for anyone to view and could help raise the
profile of the companies in the TLC trade in this region to
potential customers and clients across the country.
It will be split into individual areas within the Chamber's
region - Coventry, mid Warwickshire, south Warwickshire, north
Warwickshire and Rugby.
"We have a growing TLC membership," said Cate Poolton, of the
Chamber events & membership team. "This is a perfect way to
keep them informed of the latest events that are taking place
within the sector and a chance to raise their own profile.
"We want it to become a one-stop-shop with a range of listings
and information about companies in the sector.
"If we can attract more tourism, leisure and conference spend to
Coventry and Warwickshire, the better it will be for everyone."
