A Leamington events company brought one of the UK's busiest
shopping centres to a standstill - in style.
Fashion Live Events staged an extravagant runway performance
called The Show at Bullring Birmingham, as part of Style Birmingham
Live - a three-day event aimed at promoting the city's 1,000
shops
The Show was a fusion of theatre and fashion and highlighted the
trends available in the centre while providing high quality
entertainment in-keeping with the rest of the events taking place
across the city.
Town centre-based Fashion Live Events' managing director, Eunice
Denny has over 20 years experience producing such shows and has
seen her company grow thanks to the ongoing support of
Leamington-based financial advisers Harrison Beale and Owen.
She said: "The brief was to produce a fashion show with a
difference best described as Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus meets
Cirque de Soleil and we brought this to life by colliding theatre,
fashion and performers.
"The reviews were excellent and the organisers at Bullring were
very pleased with the results."
Fashion Live Events also had high profile shows running in
Bristol and Glasgow at the same time.
"It was a real challenge to stage three shows of this scale, at
opposite ends of the country over the course of a single weekend,"
said Eunice.
"But we put together a great team of professional models,
choreographers and support staff. In total 75 people worked
together to make these shows a success."
Eunice has a long association with the fashion industry having
previously worked on the fashion show circuit, alongside
international photographic assignments and regular television
appearances.
And she has an equally lengthy connection with Harrison Beale
and Owen.
"My father owned a well-established building and timber
merchants in Coventry for many years and was advised by Harrison
Beale and Owen," said Eunice.
"So with over 40 years' association it's very much a family
tradition."
Mark Ashfield, director at Harrison Beale and Owen, which also
has offices in Coventry, said: "It is particularly pleasing that
Eunice is experiencing this continuing success given how long her
and her family have been with us."
