A graduate surveyor at specialist regeneration developer
Blueprint has successfully completed his professional training and
qualified as a Chartered Surveyor.
Alec Hamlin, who has worked for Nottingham-based Blueprint for
three years and has been promoted to the role of Development
Manager, now becomes a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered
Surveyors. His specialism is planning and development.
Alec said: "The qualification process involves at least two
years of on the job training concluding in a written submission
which documents competency levels and professional
development."
The final element of the assessment involved Alec giving a
presentation and answering the panel's questions based on his
written submission and areas of competency required by the
profession.
Alec works on Blueprint projects in Leicester, Nottingham and
Derby and assists with managing the company's property
portfolios.
Blueprint, a joint venture between HCA, EMDA and Aviva
Investors' igloo fund, is committed to long-term sustainable
investment which judges projects' success in terms of both their
commercial performance and also their environmental and community
impact.
