A local accountancy firm is celebrating in style after signing up its 400th client at its Shrewsbury-based practice.

TaxAssist Accountants was started by Chartered Management Accountant, Nigel Lomax, and looks after the Shrewsbury, Oswestry and North Shropshire region from his office on Sundorne Road in Shrewsbury.

"We've steadily grown our client base across the eight years since we launched and most of our enquiries come from recommendations and word of mouth" Nigel explained. "In fact Pressuredown Therapies, our 400th client, chose to work with us because of the good reports they'd heard about us, assisted by the long-standing relationship that I'd developed with its principal Andrew Sceats through local business networking."

The TaxAssist office looks after a range of clients, but specialises in small and medium enterprises, helping owner-operator firms right through to larger organisations where they extend their services to include the likes of payroll. "We have a great portfolio of clients and are proud to represent such diverse business sectors across Shrewsbury and North Shropshire" Nigel added.

"Working with Andrew will be a real pleasure, and I'm delighted that he's chosen to work with us as he's hugely loyal to his business contacts and we're both looking forward to developing a long-standing relationship."

Pressuredown Therapies is a Shrewsbury-based  company whose aim is to help all therapists and clients develop their Physical and Emotional Wellness by offering top quality treatments, courses and educational backup with an innovative approach to therapies including ear candling, on-site massage, reflexology, reiki healing,  indian head and therapeutic massage.

TaxAssist Accountants is the largest network of accountants in the UK and focus their skills specifically on small businesses and taxpayers.
