A security company has ensured there will be no case of mistaken identity after teaming up with a local design firm.

IP Security Systems (IPSS), based at the University of Warwick Science Park's Venture Centre, in Sir William Lyons Road, enlisted the services of Leamington-based Identity Studio after deciding to rebrand the firm.

The security specialists have undergone a redesign of their website, www.ipssltd.co.uk, as well as creating new marketing brochures, business cards and logo design work.

IPSS were introduced to Identity Studio through the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Member 2 Member service on the website where both organisations are listed. And as an added bonus of the Chamber connection - Identity Studios offered their fellow members a discounted rate on all work undertaken.

Steven Convery, director of IPSS which was established in 2007 and employs six people, said: "Having recently won a number of new contracts, we realised that our branding and our website in particular, did not reflect the corporate image that we were striving for.

"We decided that Identity Studio had the best understanding of what we were trying to achieve and, with their experience, could be left to get on with the project, enabling us to continue managing our core business.

"They also had an edge through the subtle difference that they were experts in both web design and marketing where as usually companies only specialise in one or the other."

The security firm were also inspired by Identity Studio's policy of offering fellow Chamber members a discount and instigated their own member offer of a five-per-cent discount on all security products and installations projects commissioned by Chamber members before August 2010.

Maxine Howe, managing director of Identity Studio, said: "The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce has been a continual source of excellent advice and practical support.

"Our project with IPSS just goes to show that the member offer facility can bring excellent results."
