East Midlands-based recruitment and training organisation,
Positive Outcomes, has added two professionals to its management
team in the newly created roles of HR & Support Services
Manager and Company Accountant.
Cheryl Peto joins as HR & Support Services Manager and Gemma
Cripwell is the company's new accountant. Both are based at
Positive Outcomes' training head office in Mansfield, and together
will deliver direct support to the £4.5m turnover business,
which employs over 100 staff based in seven key regional locations,
including dedicated Recruitment company offices in Nottingham city
centre and across the UK.
Chris Longmate, MD at Positive Outcomes Group, comments: "We
pride ourselves on delivering a first-class, professional,
commercially-led service to our clients across recruitment and
work-based apprenticeships and training for both public and private
sector organisations. The company is embarking on the next phase of
its ambitious strategy for business improvement and growth at all
levels, locally and nationally, and to assist in achieving this, it
is vital to have high calibre, qualified professionals on the
management team.
"Both Cheryl and Gemma have skills and experience that is
relevant to our business and represent a great resource for
Positives Outcomes as it moves forward with its business
strategy."
Formerly HR Manager at Nottingham law firm Berryman for eight
years, Cheryl Peto became a member of the Chartered Institute of
Personnel and Development (CIPD) in 2004, after completing her HR
studies at Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Business
School in 2004. She has extensive experience in employee relations
activities and policies, and will have responsibility for
recruitment and in-house training, whilst ensuring Positive
Outcomes remains abreast of HR and employment legislation for the
benefit of clients and staff.
Gemma Cripwell, accredited by the Chartered Institute of
Management Accountants (CIMA), joins from South East Derbyshire
College where she was its Management Accountant, prior to which she
was Costing & Income Accountant for the NHS. Her role at
Positive Outcomes will be pivotal to enhancing the company's
financial reporting and analysis processes and include the creation
of an in-house Finance Department alongside Financial Assistant
Rachel Swinbank.
"As a privately-owned company, which is dedicated to developing
training partnerships with local, regional and national
organisations, Positive Outcomes has ambitious plans for growth and
will build on its reputation as one of only a handful of dedicated
providers that can deliver tailored training for employees aged 16
and upwards," adds Chris.
"The training arm of the company has consistently won Awards for
excellence in training delivery. We have always delivered
government-funded work-based training, and the funding for this has
recently been significantly increased, based entirely on our strong
performance and results in the last 12-months. The training team is
also developing a number of initiatives designed to enhance the
value-added service for clients, including our innovative
Apprenticeship scheme, for which we have a dedicated team of
professionals.
"Our Recruitment company is recognised as one of the premier
teams in the UK, and is the automatic choice and preferred supplier
for many East Midlands' businesses operating in the commercial
office, call centre, sales, secretarial, legal, HR, I.T. and
financial sectors."
