Property agent heb has secured three deals in West Bridgford -
which they say proves the suburb is thriving.
At 103 Melton Road, heb has secured a ten-year lease to
children's clothing retailer Isobel and Henry. The lease is at a
starting rental of £18,000 rising to £20,000 in year
three.
Matt Cullen of heb said: "The unit had generated a large amount
of interest and having had a couple of false starts, we went to
best rental bids with Isobel and Henry being the successful party
despite interest from some regional and national retailers."
Further along Melton Road, acting on behalf of Lucan
Developments, heb has secured a letting to a franchisee of upmarket
kitchen retailers, Intoto. The lease is for ten years at a starting
rental of £13,000 rising to £20,000 in year three. The
property was being marketed by FHP but heb, aware of the
requirement of Intoto, negotiated the deal on behalf of Lucan
Developments.
Jon Emmerson of heb said: "We knew the Intoto kitchen
requirement would suit this property and we always like to help
fellow agents out to secure the best interests of property
owners."
The third deal by heb is the acquisition of the former Jewel in
the Crown restaurant in Bridgford for the Perkins family - which
was secured after competitive bidding. The Perkins family, which
runs Perkins Restaurant in Plumtree, will be announcing its new
concept shortly.
