The drptechnicalservices team, part of Hartlebury-based events
and communications specialists the drpgroup, has delivered
technical production on its first-ever outdoor music festival, this
year's Bridge Bash music and festival set in the heart of the
beautiful Teme Valley in rural Worcestershire.
The team provided staging, banners, stage management, lighting
and sound production on both from 30 July to 1 August for the
festival's main stage, which saw bands such as Athlete perform to
crowds in excess of 1,500 people.
The festival was first held in 2005 and has continued to grow
each year, with the drpgroup coming on board to achieve a new level
of technical production in 2010. The drptechnicalservices team
erected the stage, including banners, lighting and all audio
equipment before the festival opened.
Ian Ruhback, senior show technician, commented on the
drptechnicalservices team's first festival: "It was a great to be
able to show the range of expertise the drpgroup has on offer in
such a different environment to that which we normally deliver our
services.
"Our knowledge and the fact that all the equipment we use is our
own means that we can provide a top class service no matter what
the nature of the event so It's great to have our first festival
under our belts and this will no doubt be the first of many."
