Lawyers at the associated firms of Talbots and DBL Talbots
offered discounted will-writing services during February of this
year to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. The
promotion was offered right across the Practice from their offices
in Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Dudley, Codsall and
Wolverhampton.
For every will written during this time, the firm donated
£20 to the charity and clients were also offered the option
of making a gift in their will to further support Macmillan.
The end result was a fantastic £1730 donation which was
handed over to Richard Sproson, Legacy Adviser (pictured with
Talbots' Sharon Oakley and Martyn Morgan).
Sharon Oakley, lawyer at the firm's Stourbridge office said "We
do like to support both national and local charities. Macmillan
does wonderful service and we were delighted with the response from
our clients".
Richard Sproson said "We are delighted that Talbots chose to
work with Macmillan Cancer Support on this promotion and that it
received such good support from their clients. This donation and
any gifts we receive in wills will help us to reach the people
affected by cancer in the local area by providing the practical,
medical, emotional and financial support that they need".
