Leicester bespoke tailoring firm Tailoring UK, is expanding into
bridalwear following the success of its core tailoring business,
which makes bespoke business and wedding suits.
The company, which is owned by Ketan and Harsha Jethwa, has
launched Jessica Farringdon Brides. This will be a range of ready
to wear and bespoke wedding dresses, aimed at the more discerning
bride who wants her dress for the big day designed for her
alone.
"Tailoring UK was making a lot of wedding suits and shirts for
men and as our customers were so happy with them, they kept asking
us to make wedding dresses," explains Ketan. "Then Harsha came on
board as stylist and it took off. We found ourselves making more
and more until we decided to bite the bullet and launch our own
range," he added.
The Jessica Farringdon Brides range will be of the highest
quality and designed and constructed by the sixth generation
tailoring family, the Jethwas. "This is Saville Row for wedding
dresses - with a distinct English styling," says Harsha.
Tailoring UK hopes the new range will offer it a broader spread
of the UK wedding market. As the company already makes wedding
suits, the new bridal range will give it full market coverage.
Ketan adds: "We hope to see an increase in suit sales as well,
as girls will be choosing bespoke wedding and corporate suits and
shirts for their partners. Designing bridal wear is so rewarding as
the customers are always so deliriously happy as you are preparing
them for the best day of their lives!"
Tailoring UK's new Jessica Farringdon Brides range will be
available from company's outlets in Leicester and Cambridge and
online.
The range will also be on show at the National Wedding Show in
October.
