Telford-based managed services provider e-know.net has announced
the appointment of Julian Jackson to the role of sales manager.
This marks a formal splitting of sales and marketing functions as
the company looks to step up dedicated activity on both fronts, to
better capitalise on current interest in Cloud solutions and its
own recent promotional efforts.
Julian, 36, joins from networks and telephony specialist 8el,
where he was sales and marketing director. Reporting to managing
director, Nigel Redwood, and overseeing a team of three, he will be
responsible for both strategic direction and the day-to-day sales
management of both channel and end-user business.
Commenting on the appointment, Nigel Redwood said: "Julian has a
proven track record in the SME space, not just in relation to
getting and closing deals but in forging strong teams, developing
strategy and creating a clear sales vision. With the increasing
acceptance of Cloud-based, managed services, and our own aggressive
drive into key sectors, this is the perfect time to push on and
build significant market share. Julian will have a pivotal role in
exploiting this opportunity and in ensuring that e-know.net
continues to deliver to the standards expected."
Helen Newman will continue in the role of marketing manager,
focusing in on PR, customer communications, social media,
multimedia, events and sales promotion to support lead generation
activity and sustain awareness across key target markets.
