Derby-based Develop Training, the leading technical skills
training provider in the UK, has made three new appointments,
strengthening its Electrical, Water and Streetworks
divisions.
Mark Dougall joins Develop Training as Director for Electrical,
Mechanical and Building Services. With 15 years experience in HR,
learning and development, Mark previously spent three years as
Client Partner at global HR Consultancy Penna, where he worked with
clients who were downsizing and transitioning employees out of the
business.
Mark's new role will allow him to use his experience in people
development while growing revenues and increasing new business
within the division.
He said, "Develop Training has a reputation as a leader in its
field and I am excited about building on this as part of my role
here. As well as growing the Electrical Division I will also be
exploring additional income streams including apprenticeships, new
product development such as renewable energy and new geographic
markets in London and the south east. This growth needs to be
achieved whilst maintaining both our high quality and success
standards and this is a challenge I am very much looking forward
to."
Two additional appointments have also seen Dave Warburton join
as Streetworks Manager and Mick Wright recruited to the position of
Water Operations Manager. With more than 65 years experience
between them they will strengthen Develop's expertise in these
sectors, allowing for further growth and development.
Rod Tompsett, Executive Chairman, said, "We are delighted to
welcome Mark, Dave and Mick to Develop Training and are confident
that they will all be valuable additions to our team here. Mark's
passion for communication within organisations and his experience
in learning and development will make him a real asset while the
appointment of Dave and Mick will allow us to grow our presence in
these sectors.
"In particular we are anticipating that the changes to
Streetworks legislation due to come into force in April will have a
significant impact on the industry and Dave's appointment puts us
in a good position to build on this opportunity."
