The drpgroup has once again expanded its team as the agency
continues to grow throughout 2010. The group has set a series of
ambitious targets as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations and
following the announcement that seven new team members had joined
the drpgroup in April and May, a further seven new people have
joined in June and August.
It was revealed at the drpgroup company conference that the team
had achieved 75% of its £5 million gross profit target for
the year already and these new team members will help the group
stay on track to achieve continued growth.
The drpevents team have taken on two new events assistants,
Claire Holmes and Heather Pedwell, to aid the project management
team with new projects. Andrea Lynch has joined the group's venue
sourcing service, thevenuepot.com, as a venue resource co-ordinator
to help this division as it expands. Christina Meredith has joined
the drptechnicalservices team as a production manager assisting the
technical team in managing the group's large-scale production
projects.
The drpvideo team has also expanded, bringing on board
production assistant Dan Gauld and senior producer Sam Jones as the
drpvideo team continues to grow its client base and deliver more
projects. Vicky Cashmore has also joined the drpteam as a new
administrative assistant, helping the group manage the ever
increasing volume of information coming into the business.
More vacancies will be announced towards the end of 2010 as the
group aims to hit its target of 30 new team members employed this
year.
Jane Jones, director of drpevents, said: "As part of our
long term growth strategy, we have been looking at expanding the
team strategically to help our project managers deliver the best
service possible to clients. In taking on new events assistants, we
are also hiring our project managers of the future. They will get
the chance to learn from our experienced team and develop their
skills and understanding of the role making our team stronger as we
begin new projects with clients old and new."
