Local law firm Lanyon Bowdler have responded to the success of
their regular employment law seminars by scheduling additional
events throughout the Shropshire area during September and October
2010.
With offices in Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Oswestry, Telford and
Wellington, the firm services businesses throughout Shropshire and
the surrounding counties. To give delegates from across the
area the convenient opportunity to attend, the employment seminars,
which are always popular and well attended, are scheduled as
follows:-
Tuesday 28 September - John Amos & Co Offices,
Leominster
Wednesday 29 September - Lanyon Bowdler Offices, Shrewsbury
Tuesday 5 October - Park House Hotel, Shifnal
Thursday 7 October - Wynnstay Hotel, Oswestry
All seminars will commence at 9.00am, with presentations
starting at 9.30am, closing at approximately 1.00pm. The cost
is just £17.50 plus VAT, which will include hot and cold
drinks, plus a bacon sandwich or cheese toasty.
A main feature of the seminars will be the Equality Act 2010,
provisions of which come into force in October 2010, and as a
result will re-shape the whole area of law relating to
discrimination - an issue every employer needs to know
about.
In addition, John Merry, partner and employment law specialist
will be providing a general update in respect of the other main
developments in employment law.
