Leading car dealership Knights BMW is celebrating a number of
internal promotions after a successful year of business resulted in
a substantial increase in sales.
The Knights BMW dealerships in Stoke and Stafford have seen
sales grow by a credit crunch beating 13 per cent year on year.
And dealership staff are enjoying a double celebration, after
the announcement of six internal promotions across both sites.
Operations director at Knights BMW Stoke David Vickers said the
promotions marked the end of a very successful trading year for the
group.
"The last year has seen the launch of some great new cars,
including the 5 Series and a series of awards for the BMW range,
which has led to robust sales throughout what has been a tough year
for the sector," he said.
"The fantastic sales are the result of a great deal of hard work
from our team and I am delighted that we have been able to reward
our staff by recognising their efforts.
"We are always delighted to 'grow our own' talent and I am
particularly pleased to be in a position to promote six members of
the team after such a great year."
Promotions include four staff members in Stoke; James Platt -
Used Car Manager, Helaina O'Brien - Customer Relationship Manager,
Kate Finney - Sales Administrator and Jonathan Croughan, formerly
from the Stafford dealership, now New Car Manager.
The remaining two promotions are at Stafford with Ben Elliot
moving from Stoke to become MINI Manager and Simone Peacock moves
to the MINI Business Manager position.
