Leading Worcestershire law firm, Parkinson Wright who have
offices in Worcester, Droitwich and Evesham have recently
introduced a new complimentary home emergency and accident cover
plan for their residential property clients.
Jean Newton, Head of Parkinson Wright's Residential Property
Team explains more, "Anyone carrying out their conveyancing
work through Parkinson Wright will be given a free complimentary
Encore home emergency and accident service plan which will provide
them with cover up to £500 per incident. Clients can make an
unlimited number of claims, there is no excess, bills will be paid
directly to the contractor or engineer and there is an emergency
24/7 helpline even on Christmas Day."
The Encore plan also covers others things such as boiler repair,
plumbing and drainage emergencies, electrical breakdown, security
including break-ins and vandalism that have been reported to the
police, broken or damaged windows that present a security risk up
to £100 towards overnight accommodation if residents cannot
stay in their homes plus £250 towards the cost of a new
boiler if the old one is beyond repair. Premiums will not be
charged on the policy in the first year as Parkinson Wright will
pay for the cost of the cover. Cover starts from the day that a
client completes their house purchase and there is no obligation to
renew the policy after the first year is over. The plan is
delivered by Homecall who run a fast response network of 6,500
accredited skilled contractors throughout the UK and it is
underwritten by Brit Insurance.
Cyril Arridge, Parkinson Wright's Managing Partner
said, "We are absolutely delighted to be offering this service
to our residential property clients. At Parkinson Wright we believe
in offering a total package and out strap line, "all part of the
service" really sums up the level of care and attention that we
offer our clients."
