facilities.
Famous names from the world of cricket included former
Derbyshire and West Indies fast bowler Michael Holding, who is now
a member of the Sky Sports Commentary team, former England wicket
keeper Bob Taylor, and ex Derbyshire wicket keeper Bernie
Maher.
Representing the world of football were Stoke City and former
Derby County midfielder Rory Delap and current Derby County striker
Chris Porter.
The original founders of the practice, Maggie Wylde and Penny
Lendon were also in attendance.
Commenting on the event, head physio at the Derbyshire Sports
Injury Clinic, Ann Brentnall said:
"I would like to thank everyone who turned out to help us
celebrate the clinic's 25th anniversary. We had a fantastic evening
and were able to showcase our new, expanded treatment facilities to
existing and former patients, as well as some old friends from the
sporting world."
