In a deal brokered by DTZ, leading real estate investment
manager, PRUPIM, has sold its industrial premises on Burton Road,
Streethay in Lichfield for £615,000.
The purchaser, HGV servicing and repair specialists, Bullwell
Trailer Solutions Ltd (BTS), plans to relocate its repair workshop
operation from its current premises in Tamworth to the newly
refurbished 11,025 sq ft industrial warehouse unit. DTZ advised
Bullwell on a change of use application for the premises which will
be used for HGV trailer repair, maintenance and testing.
John Sambrooks, Associate Director in DTZ's industrial and
logistics team, commented: "Following an extensive refurbishment
programme by PRUPIM, interest in the unit was very strong, in
particular due to the large yard which is a rare commodity in
Lichfield."
Gary Bulley, Managing Director of BTS Ltd, said: "We chose to
relocate to Lichfield due to its strategic transport links and
close proximity to the A38 and M6 Toll. The property offers growth
opportunities on a self contained site and the refurbishment
programme carried out by PRUPIM has enabled us to take occupation
quickly to limit impact during our relocation.
"The new facility will enable our business to realise its full
potential as the UK's largest mobile trailer repairer and has
helped to raise the profile of the company. BTS prides itself on
its high level of quality, integrity and professionalism in this
sector, all similar qualities demonstrated by DTZ, thereby creating
a sound platform to conduct business. Many thanks need to go to
DTZ."
