A former Senior House Officer at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital
has been admitted as a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties at The
Royal College of Surgeons of England on the first anniversary of
her joining a top team of dentists in one of the county's leading
dental clinics.
Emily Wright BDS, who practices at the Dental Spa on Oxon
Business Park, Shrewsbury, passed the examination held at the
nationally acclaimed Royal College of Surgeons after two years of
intensive study and three external audits. She was also runner-up
in the Vocational Training (VT) Regional Audit Presentation.
A former student of Wrekin College, Emily joined the Dental Spa
in July 2009 from the Maxillofacial Department at RSH. She studied
Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine, Restorative Dentistry, and
Orthodontics and Paediatrics for five years at Bristol Dental
School, during which time she was highly commended for her work in
Oral Surgery at Bristol Dental Hospital and also won the GSK
Bristol Dental Elective Prize. Her clinical experience as an Oral
and Maxillofacial specialist has involved her in a wide range of
both minor and major surgery.
Congratulating Emily on her success Thomas Norlin, Clinical
Director of the Dental Spa, said: "Emily has considerably wide
experience for such a young dentist and her recent achievement is a
tribute to her hard work and keenness to expand her skills and
knowledge in every area of dentistry."
