Nottingham call centre Domestic & General (D&G) has
appointed a new learning and development manager.
Lynne Swinson has joined the team and will be managing the
learning development for the Nottingham contact centre.
Lynne has over 15 years experience as a learning and development
manager, and joined D&G from Alliance and Leicester, which
is part of one of the world's largest banking groups.
Lynne's role will involve analysing requirements, creating
training solutions and evaluating the impact on the business to
ensure that D&G is functioning as efficiently as possible.
D&G, which is based on Talbot Street in the city centre, is
the UK's largest specialist provider of service contracts on
domestic electrical equipment. The firm employs over 700 people
aged from 16-73 at its Nottingham call centre which opened in
1997.
Lynne said: "I am really looking forward to working in a call
centre where I am able to work closely with everyone on site.
"D&G have a great reputation in the industry and I am
delighted to be joining a very busy and successful team. We are a
customer focused organisation and I hope I am able to implement
training and learning solutions to fulfil the customer's needs."
