Scores of business owners across the West Midlands and beyond
will learn how to run their own PR campaigns after the expansion of
a successful coaching programme.
Staffordshire-based Richard Swancott Associates has taken their
Be Your Own PR Person workshops to Holmes Chapel, Telford and Derby
after an excellent response to previous seminars in
Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford.
Delegates will learn how to write a press release and where to
send it, as well as integrating award applications, public speaking
opportunities and social networking into their PR strategy.
And they will also have a chance to help local charities - 50%
of the £50 fee will be donated to Arch North Staffordshire,
or Ruby's Fund in Cheshire, for every referral they pass.
Owner Richard Swancott said: "We have held many workshops in
Staffordshire in the past 12 months and they've been very
well-received, with over 100 business owners attending in Newcastle
and Stafford.
"Due to the economic climate, business owners are increasingly
looking for better ways of using their marketing budgets, and if
they can help a local charity at the same time, then so much the
better.
"We've linked up with Arch in Staffordshire and Ruby's Fund in
Cheshire, and are looking to help other charities in Derbyshire and
Shropshire on the same basis."
