National property and construction consultancy Wakemans has
promoted a senior Building Surveyor to associate director
reflecting the strength of its service offering in this growing
sector.
Adrian Cartwright is a Member of the Royal Institution of
Chartered Surveyors with 20 years experience in the construction
industry across a wide range of sectors. He has particular
expertise in party wall, dilapidations and expert witness areas of
work and has led the expansion of these services for Wakemans since
he joined less than 12 months ago.
Managing director John Woodhall says: "Adrian has been
instrumental in developing our expertise and client base for the
building surveying team. We have seen particular growth in
our dispute resolution services as the recession continues and
companies take on more litigation."
Wakemans has a strong track record in expert witness work
through established relationships with specialist construction
solicitors in the West Midlands and the North West. Recent
commercial and residential cases have involved disputes over
quality, workmanship and financial payments.
Adrian adds: "It has been an exciting 12 months. I am looking
forward to the new challenges ahead as an associate director and
the opportunity to contribute more to the development of the
Wakemans business and the further expansion of the building
surveying department."
