A very colourful BSS Industrial team rambled 23 miles around Rutland Water's Nature Reserve to raise over £3,200 for Rainbow Trust, exceeding their target by miles.

Two teams completed the sponsored trek on Saturday 17th July 2010, with each team member dressing up in a colour of the rainbow. The 'Rambling for Rainbows' event was organised to raise money for Rainbow Trust, BSS Industrial's current official partner charity. 

Sue Greatorex, Commercial Director for BSS Industrial, led one of the teams on the day and commented: "Rutland Water is an iconic local landmark and was the perfect spot for this year's fundraising event. It was great to see family, friends and even suppliers turning up on the day to support and participate in the event. We received outstanding support from many of our suppliers for which we are very grateful. Our friends and family were also very generous and on behalf of the team I would like to thank everyone who sponsored us."

BSS Industrial has supported the Rainbow Trust since 2007, raising around £50,000 per year for each of the past three years to help the charity continue to offer vital support to families who have a child suffering from a life threatening or terminal illness.
