Yorkshire Bank has strengthened its growing Birmingham team with
the appointment of a new partner.
Peter Brooke, who is celebrating his tenth year with the
company, joined the bank as a business associate which was a role
he enjoyed for seven years before being promoted to junior
partner.
The 38-year-old, who lives in Great Barr in the city, is now
moving further up the career ladder having been appointed business
banking partner at Yorkshire Bank's Financial Solutions Centre
(FSC) on Temple Row.
He said: "I've hugely enjoyed the last ten years working at the
bank and I am delighted to have taken on this new role.
"The bank has shown great faith in me since the first day I
joined and I'm looking forward to taking on this exciting new
challenge.
"Meeting and speaking to our members and potential new clients
on a day-to-day basis has always been the most enjoyable part of my
job and I'm looking forward to building on the close relationships
I've made with our customers along with making new business
contacts across the city and the West Midlands region in my new
position."
Stephen Cronin, managing partner at Yorkshire Bank's Birmingham
FSC, said Peter had made great strides over the last
decade.
"Peter has consistently impressed ever since he joined the team
in Birmingham and I'm delighted to add him to our growing team of
partners," he said.
"Yorkshire Bank is keen to do business in the local market
across the region and the addition of Peter to the team outlines
our commitment to remaining open for business."
