All the Broad Street and Brindleyplace businesses, their events
and promotions, and details of the area's Walk of Stars are now
contained in one easy-to-use iPhone application.
Containing a wealth of information on what the area has to
offer, the app has been developed by Aquila - also based on Broad
Street - in conjunction with the Broad Street Business Improvement
District.
The 'Broad Street' app is now downloadable in the iTunes App
store and is free of charge. It features an all exclusive directory
of businesses in the Midland's Golden Mile, alongside an easy to
use map - a simple navigation tool for visitors to the area, the
latest news from Broad Street and Brindleyplace and all the
information on Walk of Stars recipients including video and photos
of their presentations.
Mike Olley, Broad Street Manager said: "I've recently taken to
using an iPhone and I've found the apps to be fantastically useful.
Broad Street is a vibrant area and this is depicted in our new
iPhone app. This is a great tool for our regulars, those that are
new to the area and the visiting conference and business delegates.
Even with my knowledge of the area I use it as a reference
point!"
