Birmingham Science Park Aston (BSPA) has instructed the
Birmingham office of Drivers Jonas Deloitte as the Park's new
letting agent.
Under the direction of Dr David Hardman, Managing Director of
Birmingham Science Park Aston, the 22 acre Park is aiming to let
existing vacant office stock while also working up exciting plans
for future developments on vacant sites within the
demise.
With 70 businesses already established onsite and NatWest
recently reporting new business accounts being opened at the rate
of more than 2,000 per week, BSPA is well placed to attract
start-ups and growing businesses, to its variety of smaller office
suites ranging from 100-10,000sq ft.
Philippa Pickavance, Head of Agency at Drivers Jonas Deloitte
commented: "We are delighted to have been instructed on Birmingham
Science Park Aston, a unique office opportunity within Birmingham
which provides supportive services and resources to and beyond its
geographic boundaries. BSPA provides excellent campus style
accommodation with excellent on-site parking alongside a highly
innovative offering not found on other commercial parks in the
region. This includes business incubation facilities such as the
Entrepreneurs for the Future Centre, plus the wider benefits
provided to tenants through BSPA's access to the region's
University graduates, technical expertise and the university's
business schools and library."
"BSPA also enjoys a strong location at the head of the Aston
Express Way benefitting from a transformed walk via the Aston
University Campus and Corporation Street into the heart of the city
centre. It's a highly accessible location for businesses with
an attractive out of town setting but 'in town' attitude and
interactive supportive environment. BSPA's variety of office
suites, flexibility of lease options and competitive rents make it
excellently positioned to help entrepreneurs succeed."
Faraday Wharf, the latest phase of Birmingham Science Park
Aston, provides amenities for the whole Park, including onsite
meeting and conference facilities, a high quality coffee shop with
free wireless internet access for business meetings, plus the
support of the Park's dedicated business development
team.
Dr. David Hardman, Managing Director of Birmingham Science Park
Aston commented: "We are delighted to have Drivers Jonas Deloitte
Agency Team on board. As one of the UK's premier science
parks the aim is to grow technology related businesses here to help
diversify the Birmingham economy. However, one of our immediate
short-term aims is to build the wider business community at BSPA by
letting the existing stock of accommodation to companies from a
diverse range of sectors that can gain benefit from locating to
this urban environment focussed on promoting successful high growth
enterprises."
