A Shropshire law firm is supporting a national campaign encouraging people across the UK to reach out for help if they need it.

Linder Myers Solicitors, with two offices in the town, (in the High Street and Claremont Bank), has a large team of qualified solicitors to help people of the county with a wide range of issues.

The Law Society has launched a nationwide information campaign advising consumers to go to a solicitor for much needed legal advice, The campaign takes a Beatles theme with the strap-line 'Help, I need somebody'.

From employers using Facebook as a way to vet job candidates to unmarried couples moving in together and vulnerable people being targeted by unregulated will writers, thousands of people are in need of advice.

Mr Bill Jarvis,  Head of Linder Myers, Shrewsbury, said: "Solicitors know so many cases of people who have turned to them for help after being left in a situation because they did not ask for advice when they needed it.

"People end up in hot water by doing the wrong thing and often end up paying thousands of pounds to rectify mistakes as a result.

"The Law Society campaign is calling on people to contact solicitors before they get into that sort of mess and to ask for the advice when they need it. We whole-heartedly support that campaign."
