Local law firm Lanyon Bowdler have responded to the success of
their regular employment law seminars by scheduling additional
events throughout the Shropshire area during September and October
2010.
With offices in Telford, Wellington, Shrewsbury, Oswestry and
Ludlow, the law firm currently services businesses throughout
Shropshire and the surrounding counties. The employment law
seminars, which are always popular and well attended, are due to be
held in Shrewsbury, Leominster, Oswestry and Shifnal to enable
delegates from all areas the opportunity to attend.
A main feature of the seminars will be the Equality Act 2010,
provisions of which come into force in October 2010, and as a
result will re-shape the whole area of law relating to
discrimination - an issue every employer needs to know
about.
In addition, John Merry, partner and employment law specialist
will be providing a general update in respect of the other main
developments in employment law since the last seminar was held in
April 2010.
Details of dates and venues for the seminars will follow
shortly, however in the meantime, potential delegates can register
their interest by contacting Rachel Donaghey on 01952 224047 or
email rachel.donaghey@lblaw.co.uk.
