SpongeBob SquarePants will meet and greet cartoon fans of all
ages as the Nickelodeon favourite visits Victoria Centre this
August.
He will be joined by fellow star of the small screen Dora the
Explorer and the pair will entertain shoppers with their antics
throughout the day on Saturday 7th August and Sunday 8th August, as
part of the new Summer of Fun Victoria Centre activities. There
will be dedicated meet-and greet sessions and a wristband system in
place on the day for this event, so shoppers are asked to arrive
early to avoid disappointment.
Other Victoria Centre activities on offer over the summer break
include a free ride in an RAF flight simulator, a go at The
Scalextric Challenge, filming workshops with Young Film Makers and
Dance Workshops, as well as a Toy Story 3 Party to coincide with
the release of the latest film.
Summer of Fun is Victoria Centre's contribution to the great
family holiday, especially for those who have chosen to stay in the
UK and make the most of what Nottingham has to offer. By
discovering what Victoria Centre has in-store for visitors,
Back-to-School or holiday shopping will be fun for everyone.
General Manager Richard Bowler says: "We want the family
shopping trip to be a real treat and something to look forward to.
It's not every day you have the chance to jump into an RAF flight
simulator, experience the thrills and spills of the Scalextric
circuit and meet your favourite Nickelodeon character. The Centre
will be buzzing with excitement over the next few weeks!"
