Award wining developer, Blueprint, have revealed images of its
next potential development in the St George's area of Leicester
city centre.
The computer generated images (CGIs) show two possible options
being explored for the land owned by Blueprint adjacent to Phoenix
Square. Option one depicts a 50,000sq ft head quarters office
scheme to suit a professional services or design practice such as
solicitor or architects. Option two outlines a 4 star boutique
hotel scheme with up to 150 bedrooms, a first floor restaurant and
meeting room facilities.
Blueprint's Development Director responsible for the project,
Peter Connolly, said: "The success of Phoenix Square, which opened
in November 2009 and was 50% occupied within the first three
months, has been encouraging. It has given us added confidence in
the St George's Cultural Quarter and brought forward our plans for
further investment.

"The images show potential development plans for the area and we
are keen to hear from prospective occupiers to see how we can work
together to bring the development forward. We are also working
closely with Prospect Leicestershire and Leicester City Council's
cultural team on the masterplan for the area and this type of
development fits in well."
The land runs along side the Nicholls Street and St George's Way
and faces Phoenix Square's café bar. It is the intention to
link the two developments through an extended outdoor seating area
and pedestrian access.
