Business leaders learned how to network more effectively when a
night of magic conjured up business skills at Dudley and District
Business Club.
Solihull magician Ben Hanlin, the only magician to win three
'Yes' votes on Britain's Got Talent, showed businessmen and women
how to build rapport, using memory, touch and techniques such as
'mirror matching' - reflecting their traits, because people 'buy
from people like themselves.'
Peter Suddock, Chief Executive of Dudley Zoo, also gave an
inspiring outline of the renaissance of the Zoo - and told how
Jorong, the occupant of its inspiring new extended Orang house had
mirrored the behaviour of builders.
Peter Matthews, former president of the Black Country Chamber of
Commerce will be talking about his experiences working with
business owners, at next Tuesday's (20th July) Dudley and District
Business Club meeting, where visitors have chance to network and
enjoy a superb 2 course sit down meal and coffee.
Chairman of Dudley and District Business Club Mick Davies, of
MAD Computer Solutions, said: "It was a really great night, where
we learned how to network more effectively - and enjoy it. We
are looking forward to hearing Peter Matthews' rich experiences, as
we all need to work and learn together to grow our businesses."
The Club meets monthly at Hagley Golf Club, Wassell Grove Lane,
Hagley, and new businesses are welcome to join.
