The UK's leading online supplier of sporting first aid
equipment, Firstaid4sport, has been selected as an official Fitting
Centre for world-renowned DonJoy rigid knee braces.
The Lincoln based first aid specialist will be just the third
company in the UK and the second outside of London to achieve this
status. The role will see the Firstaid4sport helping consumers with
knee injuries and osteoarthritis, and motocross and extreme sports
enthusiasts, get fitted with their braces.
DonJoy is the world-leading brand for high quality orthopaedic
devices and it was impressed with Firstaid4sport's expert knowledge
of supports and braces for sport, and its commitment to helping
customers get the right product for them.
"It's a real privilege to have been selected as a DonJoy Fitting
Centre, as this is a recognition that every business in our space
would like to achieve," explains Michael Davison, managing director
of Firstaid4sport.
"We have always taken great care with our customer experience to
ensure that people make the right choices when buying first aid
equipment from us.
"We have a dedicated helpline and online forums where customers
can speak to director Gemma Davison, who is a paramedic and sports
injury specialist, and of course to our trained team. Additionally,
we have detailed online product information and even YouTube
tutorials to show how products should be used - and we always
welcome pre-arranged visits by customers.
Now a recognised DonJoy Fitting Centre, Firstaid4sport will be
receiving referrals from knee surgeons and other specialists across
the Midlands and the North of the country - and will be the first
non-medical establishment to do so.
The DonJoy range of Defiance rigid knee braces are used by
people all over the world to assist them in returning to active
life after suffering damage to their knees. The braces are also
used to prevent injuries in the first place and users include world
motorcross champion Antonio Cairoli, world moguls freestyle
champion Kristi Richards and countless other professional and
amateur extreme sports enthusiasts.
