Growth into the beers, wines and spirits (BWS) sector has led to
Leicester-based labeller Label Apeel adding to its growing
team.
Derek Wainwright has joined the adhesive labelling company as
sales executive, whilst Claire Gibbons has arrived as customer
service manager.
Derek's role at Label Apeel will include obtaining new business
for the fast-growing company, as well as expanding the burgeoning
BWS side of the business. He is also charged with raising and
maintaining the awareness of Label Apeel within the BWS sector. He
has vast experience in the field and joins from Darley's, where he
was European sales manager. Before that he was operations manager
at Carlsberg. Derek hails from Burton-on-Trent - the home of
brewing - and is an extremely well known name in the industry.

In her new role, Claire Gibbons, who is from Melton Mowbray,
will take on the day-to-day management of the customer service
team. She is also responsible for expanding customer awareness of
the Label Apeel brand, and leading the continuous drive for
improved customer services at the company.
Claire joins from Culina Logistics, where she was assistant
transport manager, and says she is passionate about customer
service.
Speaking about the new appointments, managing director of Label
Apeel, Stuart Kellock said:
