HSBC Commercial Banking has appointed Dean Pedley to a newly created International Commercial Manager position; supported by Sandeep Bansal, International Commercial Associate.

Dean and Sandeep will provide a dedicated resource to the increasing number of companies in the Leicestershire area that are doing business internationally.   

Building on HSBC's strong international capabilities - with around 8,500 offices in 86 countries and territories - the team will work closely to enable customers in Leicestershire to conduct business across borders, jurisdictions and language barriers with greater ease, and manage their payments and cash more effectively.

Roy Harris, HSBC's Regional Commercial Director for the Midlands, said: "Many businesses in the Midlands are looking beyond the UK domestic market, identifying opportunities for growth through international markets. We're also finding that businesses are looking to simplify their existing international banking. HSBC has a global market presence and through a "joined up" approach we can support client needs as a single global team.

Dean has over 20 years banking experience and has held a number of senior roles at Fortis Bank and Lloyds TSB prior to joining HSBC. Sandeep moves from her position within HSBC Corporate Banking and is well experienced in international business.
