Residents from over 2,700 Derwent Living properties in
Derbyshire will get the chance to win impressive prizes when they
take part in a survey gauging customer satisfaction.
Housing provider Derwent Living came up with the idea of
offering voucher incentives when its customers respond to the
survey - to encourage as many people as possible to give their
views, and make the results as realistic as possible.
Derwent Living is sending out a status survey to all customers
of its affordable properties across the Midlands and South
Yorkshire. There are almost 2,000 properties in Derby, over 200 in
Erewash and almost 500 in Amber Valley. Everyone who responds to
the survey will be entered into a prize draw and will be in with a
chance of winning part of the £600 pot of prizes. First prize
is £200 worth of high street vouchers and there will also be
four chances to win £50 in vouchers.
Those due to be surveyed are customers of affordable rented
properties, retirement properties and homeowners who have bought
from Derwent Living or pay for services of Derwent
Living.
Richard Clarke, head of housing at Derwent Living, said:
"Derwent Living is required by our regulator, the Tenant Services
Authority, to send out a customer status survey every three years
in order to establish how our customers rate our
services.
"This information will tell us what we are doing well and
highlight areas for improvement. It will also allow us to compare
ourselves in relation to other housing providers."
Derwent Living will be sending out surveys to almost 4,500
properties with the prize incentives for completion. The draw will
be done at the start of August.
Richard added: "The status survey helps to shape the services
that we provide to our customers. We want to promote it as much as
possible as the more customers that return their surveys, the more
realistic the results will be."
Derwent Living says surveys went out last week and the deadline
date to return them by is the 31 July.
"We want to encourage as many people to return their surveys as
possible," says Richard.
