Around 80 Coventry professionals talked business over burgers at
Band Hatton's summer BBQ.
The long-established legal firm held the event at Kenilworth
Golf Club to catch up with existing contacts.
"This was an informal event giving us a chance to meet up with
our friends and professional connections and hear how business has
been going," said Philip Costigan, Partner of Band Hatton and Chair
of Coventry and Warwickshire First.
"We thought that while the weather has been good it might be a
chance to put on some food and drink and see what people are
thinking before the summer holidays get into full swing.
"It was a social event but the encouraging thing for us was to
hear that, business wise, although there is still some uncertainty
in the area at present, there remains an underlying confidence and
determination, people are in good spirits and are ready for the
challenges ahead.
"We know how resilient Coventry and Warwickshire is as a region
and I'm sure businesses will meet the challenges ahead."
