West Midlands businesses in the aerospace and defence sectors
are being invited to take advantage of an exciting opportunity to
showcase their expertise at a prestigious exhibition in Poland.
UK Trade & Investment's international trade team at
Herefordshire & Worcestershire's Chamber of Commerce is leading
a visit to the MSPO exhibition in Kielce from 6-9 September for
West Midlands firms to meet potential business partners. The
closing date for applications is Thursday 15 July.
MSPO is the third largest defence and aerospace show in Europe.
It features the latest achievements in the industries, as well as
technologies and systems applied in fields such as logistics,
security and rescue.
This year, the UK is the lead nation at this prestigious event,
prompting a major presence by key players including BAE and
Raytheon.
About 13,000 international visitors and more than 300 exhibitors
representing the defence and aerospace industries of 25 countries
are expected to attend.
International Trade Manager Linda Smith, based at Herefordshire
& Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, said: "This is the first
West Midlands group visit to this event.
"MSPO provides many opportunities for the aerospace and defence
supply chain businesses, covering manufacturing, specialist
services and consultancy.
"It's a fantastic showcase for West Midlands businesses in these
sectors to demonstrate their expertise on an international
stage."
