Cold storage and warehousing specialist Chalcroft has been
awarded a Silver accolade by the Royal Society for the Prevention
of Accidents (RoSPA).
Group Health and Safety Manager Todd Hallam collected the award
at RoSPA's Occupational Health & Safety Awards Ceremony held at
Birmingham's Hilton Metropole.
Todd commented: "We have made great strides in further improving
the health, safety and environmental aspects of what we do,
ensuring that all employees are fully aware of their
responsibilities and of the consequences of their actions.
"We have continued significant investment in training for our
employees, developed an in-house safety committee and maintained
accreditation through independent, national organisations, so it's
great that we have won Silver, just as we did last year.
"Chalcroft has a great reputation for its outstanding work for
clients such as Porsche, Premier Foods, Coca-Cola Enterprises and
GlaxoSmithKline, and I believe that awards such as this from RoSPA
can only serve to make us stand out even further."
