Redditch hair and beauty salon, Legends Hair & Beauty has
been presented the prestigious title of 'Apprenticeship Employer of
the Year Award' by former Dragons Den entrepreneur and
multi-millionaire businessman, Richard Farleigh.
The Evesham Road hair and beauty experts were invited to a
special business award ceremony at the Holiday Inn Bromsgrove
organised by Unique Skills People (USP).
Legends Hair & Beauty was singled out during the ceremony
for its high standards of training and support provided to young
people looking for 'on the job' training in the hair and beauty
sector.
The ultimate business accolade also recognised the salons
significant investment in training - within the West Midlands.
USP organised and hosted the Train to Gain & Apprenticeships
Awards Ceremony to recognise the significant achievements and
successes of those individuals who have completed NVQs and
Apprenticeships. In addition to acknowledging businesses in the
region who offer support to young people in the West Midlands, via
apprenticeships under the Train the Gain scheme.
Richard Farleigh was on hand to speak candidly about his success
in business and to present the awards.
Dave Alekna, Director of Legends Hair & Beauty, said: "This
is a massive accomplishment for us as a salon and apprenticeship
provider in the region.
"We have always been committed to supporting the future talent
in the hair and beauty sector via our work with NEW College and
USP. We believe in investing in young people by providing
them with the vital 'on the job' skills they require whilst
completing the required qualifications.
"Our award is a testament to the hard work our senior team put
in when guiding and supporting our apprentices on the salon floor.
In addition to this, our clients fully trust our apprentices and
allow them to put techniques into practice."
Legends Hair & Beauty works in partnership with USP and NEW
College to offer employment and apprenticeships to young people
seeking to succeed and complete qualifications, whilst working in
the hair and beauty environment.
The salon has worked in partnership with USP and NEW College for
over 10-years. It has supported over 60 apprentices during its
20-year history.
Legends Hair & Beauty Salon specialises in creative hair
design and a wide range of beauty treatments including
Electrolysis, CACI Non surgical face lifts and Bronzing.
