A Birmingham-based company that started life in Derby has
returned to its roots - and chosen Derby's Friar Gate Studios as
the location for its second operation.
Net Syndicate, which provides website design and website
development services, has taken a 331sq ft unit within the high
profile studios on Ford Street in the city.
The company was established in Derby in 1999 and relocated to
Birmingham in 2008.
Now it is expanding again and has chosen Derby as the base for
its second office, which will provide services to its many
Derby-based clients.
Net Syndicate won the Heist Award for Best Website in 2009 and
recently developed a search engine for the local housing authority
at Birmingham City Council and is currently designing an intranet
system for North Staffordshire NHS.
Purpose-built for the creative industries and fully equipped
with an extensive range of supplementary services, Friar Gate
Studios provides flexible office facilities, which are ideal for
new, growing and well-established businesses.
Commenting on their decision to move back to Derby, managing
director David Swain said: "Friar Gate Studios has an
excellent reputation for providing quality service to growing
businesses in creative industries.
"We are delighted to be returning part of our operation to
Derby. Friar Gate Studios reflected our brand and company values
and it is very comforting to know that the Studios have the
facilities to allow us to expand without having to move again.
Centre manager at Friar Gate Studios, Ann Bhatti
added: "Net Syndicate is a great addition to Friar Gate
Studios. We house some of the region's most talented creative
companies and are pleased to welcome such a progressive company
back to Derby.
