Coventry based, Warwick Conferences, part of the University of Warwick has appointed a host of new and local talent to compliment its already successful sales and events teams.

Two new sales managers have been recruited. Lorna Davison joins in a full time role, alongside Chris Jones who joins as part-time. Lorna, Warwick born and bred, and who once worked as a chef at Claridges, comes to Warwick Conferences following seven years at Stoneleigh Park as events manager.

Originally from Coventry, Chris returns to the industry after a five year break. Having worked at leading business travel agency Carlson Wagonlit in London, Chris also brings with her a wealth of experience within the events industry.

Chris comments: "It's great to get back into the events industry. With my new role I'm certainly keen to utilise my existing customer service skills in this dynamic market. Warwick Conferences poses a new, but exciting challenge."

Kerry has held previous positions in both sales and events at several luxury hotel chains and brings with her a wealth of experience within the hospitality industry. Rachael Bartlett, head of sales and marketing at Warwick Conferences comments: "We've recently made a number of strategic appointments to support our sales and events teams. It's great to know that we've been able to provide roles to talented people from the region. It's important to Warwick Conferences that we're able to support our local community, whether in providing employment or attracting thousands of delegates to the city each year."
