A hard hitting anti-binge drinking campaign has led to further
recognition for award winning agency Grisdale Lesniak Swann.
The innovative agency pulled no punches in a daring advertising
campaign for Lancashire health bosses.
Graphic posters showed a pint of vomit and billboards spelled
out the possible consequences of a heavy night out with the stark
message: "I'll have unprotected sex, genital warts and a bag of
pork scratchings."
The campaign for Lancashire's Drug and Alcohol Action Team has
seen the Midlands agency shortlisted for a prestigious IPA health
marketing award.
It follows Grisdale Lesniak Swann's recent success on home turf
in the North Staffordshire Finest professional services awards and
a nomination for an education marketing HEIST Award.
Grisdale Lesniak Swann Managing Director, Alex Swann, said: "We
are delighted to have been nominated for our work on the anti-binge
drinking campaign. The IPA is the pinnacle of quality in the
advertising industry and to be shortlisted is a major honour.
"Before embarking on the campaign we carried out extensive
research which indicated that the only way to get through to
problem drinkers was to bring them up short with shocking, thought
provoking images and text."
The Finest award was won for a video showcasing how the North
Staffordshire Regeneration Partnership is progressing with a
£750 million programme of improvement work for the area.
Grisdale Lesniak Swann enlisted the help of BBC heavyweight
political commentator Andrew Marr to narrate the film.
Meanwhile, further success campaign with a nomination for a
