Seminar in Shropshire to showcase survival in the new economy

Three of Shropshire's leading business advisers have come together to offer local firms the chance to take part in a FREE seminar focusing on survival in the new economy.

Nigel Lomax from Shrewsbury-based TaxAssist Accountants will be joined by business adviser Gaynor Gravestock from Synergy & Strategy, and employment law specialist Paul Bennett from Bennett's Legal to host the session.

The two and a half hour seminar will be held at Shrewsbury Town's Greenhous Meadow on Thursday 1st July with arrival from 3.30pm, and attendees will be treated to guidance on growing a stronger business, maintaining a flexible workforce, and securing investment.

"Places are strictly limited" explained Nigel "and although we have a few left they are filling up fast, so I'd urge anyone who is interested in attending to get in touch with our office on 01743 366669 as soon as possible to avoid disappointment."

Nigel Lomax will be taking attendees through business investment, looking at how securing additional funds can help them stay ahead of their competitors, sharing tips on preparing a solid business plan, and offering advice on how to present clear financial information to investors.

Gaynor Gravestock, from Synergy & Strategy, will be looking at how to work smarter and not harder in business and will share some useful techniques to maximise profitability and improve cash flow. And Paul Bennett will be presenting a practical guide to protecting and growing businesses using contractors, freelancers, consultants and project workers.

"We hope that the seminar will be of real interest to local business leaders, and that the sharing of our advice and guidance will help strengthen businesses across the county in this difficult economic time" Nigel concluded.
