Staffs at Berrys Shrewsbury office are taking part in the
Macmillan Coracle Relay World Championship Charity Coracle Race
again this year on Friday, June 18.
Having narrowly missed winning the event last year the stakes
will be high and team members Chris Jones, Steve Locke, John Cooke
and Abi Rule are already in training to ensure they beat their
previous performance.
"To take part each team needs to raise a minimum of £300
so we are looking for sponsorship to raise as much money as
possible for Macmillan Cancer Support," said Abi Rule Undergraduate
Practitioner at Berrys Shrewsbury office ..
"Over the past three years the event has raised £86,000 to
support local people with cancer so all donations will be greatly
appreciated."
The event takes place at Shrewsbury Pengwern Boat club with up
to 48 teams of four competing to cross the River Severn and back
four times in the shortest time. Teams from businesses and
organisations across the county take part bringing their supporters
to boost funds for this very worthy cause.
Sponsorship forms are available at Berrys' Shrewsbury office or
