A new service division launched by one of the Midlands major
truck dealers has been given VOSA certification to carry out large
goods vehicle MOT tests.
The Burton on Trent-based Hartshorne Truck & Trailer
Solutions division of Hartshorne (East Midlands) Ltd in Stretton
has been granted Vehicle and Operator Services Agency certification
to carry out LGV MOTs on 7.5 ton vehicles and above, plus large
goods vehicle trailers.
Hartshorne (East Midlands) director Kevin Taylor said
certification would allow the new centre to provide even more
facilities for commercial vehicle operators.
"Our overall aim is to give operators a fast, reliable and
complete service and maximise their vehicle uptime and
profitability," he said
"As one of the most respected names in the business, Hartshorne
knows all about the importance of uptime. We are in a position to
provide customers with exactly the level of service they need,
regardless of the make of van or truck they operate," he added.
Initially Hartshorne Truck & Trailer Solutions division will
offer operators MOT booking for three days a week - Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays. The division continues to offer its full
range of existing commercial vehicle and trailer repairs and
maintenance, tachograph, brake tests, vehicle tail-lift calibration
and test services.
