Ketan Jethwa, creative director of Leicester bespoke tailoring firm Tailoring UK, has been appointed as personal tailor to celebrity entrepreneur Kavita Oberio.

TV business pundit Kavita, who starred in Channel 4's The Secret Millionaire and BBC's The Apprentice You're Fired, has appointed Ketan to design and make all of her suits for corporate and private functions for the next two years. This will see Ketan offering style guidance and actually making all of Kavita's suits, shirts and accessories.

"I have a very public profile and image is important," explains Kavita.

"I attend many public functions, key note speaking engagements and crucial client meetings every month and so maintaining my wardrobe is a big concern. I used to be wedded to designer clothes that I had to have altered all the time, but having clothes tailored to fit saves me time and I think they look much better, which makes me feel more confident."

The work with Kavita, comes just two months after Tailoring UK announced its excellent first year trading figures and intention to expand its offering across the UK.

Kavita Oberoi shot to fame after her appearance on The Secret Millionaire. Now in addition to running her own successful business Oberoi Consulting, which provides IT solutions for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, she also co-owns Octavian Security with owner and founder Sukhi Ghuman, and speaks regularly on entrepreneurship at key business functions.
